Veterinary Assistance
As a Branch we know how much it costs to look after a beloved pet and how worrying vet bills can be!
As a charity with limited funds, which are raised locally to support our animal welfare work, we need to prioritise those who need our help the most whilst encouraging responsible pet ownership. This means all applications are subject to an assessment. Sadly, we cannot guarantee all applications will receive financial help.
If your application is successful here at RSPCA Lincolnshire East Branch, we have a small budget for a one-off welfare voucher for those most in need of our help, these £40 vouchers are paid directly to the veterinary practice.
Taking on a pet comes with financial implications. That’s why we always recommend pet insurance to help with those unforeseen illnesses, injuries, and accidents that can cause our furry friends to suffer. There is no NHS for pets, so veterinary treatment can be expensive. Dogs and cats can live well into their teenage years, so they bring with them a long-term financial commitment to their care.
It can be stressful when your pet is unwell and, if you’re also worried about money, this can make the situation feel worse. The longer your pet is unwell, the worse their illness can become. Seeking advice quickly may reduce costs overall and be best for your pet’s health.
